The San Diego Sails Letterbox has been reported missing by two
different people. Since this letterbox is an orphan and I won't
be able to replace it, I have turned it into an "online" (not
virtual) letterbox. If you follow my clues to the place where
the box used to be, you will be entitled (on the honor system) to
download the stamp image for printing and count it as a Found box.
Also, you can record your visit and see other entries in my Online
Log Book by going to my aerie. Just because the physical box is
missing, I hope it won't stop you from visiting this great place.
Let me know what you think of this "out of the box" method of
dealing with missing orphans.
